Dark red

When I think of you the world turns dark red,
When I hear your name all I can feel is dread.
Although my love is long dead, I can’t help but think ;
I hear your voice and the sky turns dark,
Much as I wish, I simply cannot part;
From you or the space you take up in my heart.
I was used, it was all fake from the start,
But alas I cannot begin again.
The songs for us are tainted
I thought it was fated, but beneath it all we were destined to fall.
And as I lay here in bed, lost in the memories there is only one thought in my head.
You turned my world, Dark Red
