Dark Night Soul

I love you
Because I hate myself
This is my impression

Lavished you in praise and wonder
Promised to be 'yours' forever
I'd complete you in my quest of
Deep misapprehension

But I can't help but think
The look you gave me
Was one of confusion

I fear that you may turn on me
And redefine my boundaries
Where I end and you begin
Declined invitation

And so I must destroy you
If I am to survive
No negotiation

Love cannot be unconditional unless it sees everything. That was the meaning of my poem you commented on today. And sadly, he is real, inside him, I know there's something beautiful, but he is afraid to admit it or have someone look into his soul (like you described yourself as being). I have a question for you...you would destroy the one you love to survive....but can you survive if you kill the one thing that allows us to be alive in the first place? Just a thought. Love your comments.Sara

noone can define who you are but yourself. many people have tried to change me but i refuse to be changed for i see nothing wrong. I am who I am, nothing more nothing less, and i love myself. love yourself and noone can change or redefine your boundaries. Love for all the world, Ridge

A lot of deep soul searching here... you certainly don't need your boundaries redefined. I once tried that with a close lady friend and got my wings clipped! Great piece Yoni!! Best wishes, Keith
