Dark Night

You never know what I am
I am the darkness that comes like the black of night
Taking flight
Blood pumping
Adrenaline rushing
Face flushed
Sweating, tingling
Eyes piercing the coal black night

Stinging, burning flesh
Sweat from my brow
My pain comes down
Spiraling round and round
My soul screaming to release
Thy inner turmoil
Release thy coil
Burning deep inside
Like a pit of fire
Screaming higher and higher

Eyes stinging
Ears ringing
Tears streaming
I am screaming
Pain, excruciating pain!
Burning

Encased my heart
Skipping pace
Hell like the black of night
My fiery scars of woman
I fight
Take flight
Like the black of night!
