Dark Memory

Darkness, overwhelming
Your sound fading.
The light is only a memory.

I feel a soft burn on my lips,
It stings, but only for a second,
I open my eyes, but your still not there.

Pain, I start to scream,
I start fading back,
Back into my old dreams,
The light being covered by the darkest black.

Darkness, starts searing a mark on my heart,
Blood rushing from inside,
My dream shows pain, My heart slowly spreads apart.

I scream in agony, and in defeat,
Still I see darkness,
The pain is like no other, it's such an immense heat.

My heart burned when the light was taken away
but sadly enough;
It's nothing but a dark memory.
