Dark Desires

Day light sets as the darkness creeps in With the creatures of the night, their sly evil grins And piercing eyes that slip into our being For there's things in the darkness that weren't meant for seeing And the things that linger have a devilish way Of begging to us at the sun lights last ray To join in and just slip away Into the abyss where the dark does play
