Dark Days and Nights
Living in dangerous times we are told
People dying young and old
The virus has no respect for status or creed
Where is God in our time of need
He hears our prayers and sees our tears
While desperate souls live in fear
Time for a religion you may say
However, death and despair is everywhere
Families are torn apart as the leaders play
Is this a game of war the likes we have never seen
Chemical weapons and nuclear destruction there may have been
But what is happening to this world has gone beyond our worst nightmare
Just how much more pain and suffering do we have to bare
Some may say we are living at the end of times
And perhaps we should repent before we hear the chimes
A wake-up call to us all
Before we continue to stumble and fall
Man is destroying this world by his own greedy hands
Wake-up, Wake-up and share these lands
God said "Love is all we need"
Our blood is all the same when we bleed
