Dark Days

I sit here alone on the darkest of days
Trying to find you through the mist and haze
While trying to find myself but cant seem to do it
But you are here helping me through it

You helped me put down the knife
Thus ending a seemingly endless strife
I think about how much you care
And break your heart i wouldn't dare

I wonder how long this will go on
Because in this world I'm merely a pawn
A pawn to this game of chess
And life's meaning becomes less and less

I absolutely loved this poem. I'm so glad there are people out there that have ben there for those who have longed to end their life. Lifeis an enigma in tself full of negative and painful emotions. There is a light though, and that can clearly be sen if one wants to see it. Wether I made sense or not, excellent verse! Keep up he outstanding verse.

A story with question left unanswered, for me that make this piece all the more interesting, some deep emotions dealt with in an appropriate manner. Verywell done.
