Dark Cloud
On a deserted road
Passed long ago;
Forgotten...
A loud cloud forms
Deaf void of death
Much like forgotten
Faces lost in a hazy
Patina in past's past
Do fears become true?
Forgotten,even you
Like a kind of code
A hawk cries up high
And all is silent again
Heat boils down low
The sand near the sky
Roils ghosts who sigh
Buzzards circle; wait
Fly over spit and hate!
A small
Reminders to us all
As a heart beats faster
Soaking in a memory
Remembered, still...
Clouds of thought are
Tendrils on the wind
Telling him he's a ghost
Who walks into hell
A mushroom cloud of
silence
This world doomed to
violence
