Dark Burning Flames

One touch and I will turn to ash. In instant pain.
I am here forever. The dark burning flames of hell.
There is no chance of surviving this unbelievable domain.
I’m stuck in prison. An impossible to escape cell.

I know where I am, and I am scared.
The flames burn and never end.
I knew where I was going, why hadn’t I prepared?
Why am I thinking of this? Must my mind in this direction really bend?

I’m lost, confused and frustrated.
I look all around, all of this so dark and strange.
I look at the drop in list, looks like I’m awaited.
At the electric chair that is. I promise, I will change!

But the devil gives no mercy.
It is despicable. Save me.
