Dark Black Night
I see it on this dark black night,
Glowing in my spotlight,
I look and realize,
Fangs and red glowing eyes.
From where I stand I can tell,
This is not going to end well,
Standing in this road of mud,
Snarled muzzle smeared with blood.
Eye to eye I can see,
Now it is coming for me,
Quickly I grab my gun,
As it begins to run,
At me as I try to take a shot,
But I’m frozen and cannot,
The beast rips me thru the front window,
So now I’m sure you know,
That on this dark black night,
All they find is a pool of my blood,
Glowing in my spotlight,
Splashed across this road of mud.
