Dark Becoming

Far past my loss but still denied to leave
Still singing strong but without the will to breathe
Over my pain but I still can’t feel a thing
Still writing songs that no one can hear me sing

Darkness returns to fuel my sense of doubt
Light growing weak as I breathe it in and out
Night towers high and whispers words of hate
The day wont return as the moon has sealed my fate

Dreams of regret and an angel in my heart
She’s wearing a mask but strengthening my art
Dreams of despair and a lover with no eyes
Taken away by my angels selfish lies

Falling through night to deny the things I lost
Black draining white as faith becomes the cost
Loved ones will fade as my sight begins to die
But I’m too lost in death to ever want to cry
