Dark Angel

Dark Angel spreads
her raven wings,
and readies for
her flight

To spread her love
throughout the world
and shed her
aura’s light.

Not like
the other angels
whose halos
shine of gold,

God made just one
Dark Angel,
and then He
broke the mold.

She welcomes all
who want to shed
the darkness of
the night

escorting them
to Paradise
and
everlasting light.

Piercing eyes
of brown
and flowing hair
of ebony,

Dark Angel’s
only visible
to those who
wish to see.

Close your human eyes,
my friend,
and open up
your soul.

Just call on her
in time of need,
and let her
take control.

Raise your hands
to Heaven.
She will swoop down
from the sky

and take you
to a wonderland
where souls
will never die.
