Dark Angel

I haven't seen the angel since the unpleasantness...
Her eyes so dark, and breath so cold...
Last night she again peered into my soul...
I shattered on the floor, and could not be consoled...
She shook me and dragged me to the awful mirror...
Forcing me to look ever deeper...
I begged her to stop, and cried out to God,
but in my reflection I saw the Reaper...
I pleaded for just one more chance...
A chance to change my ways...
But as the mirror cracked, and smoke filled the room,
all my dreams were set ablaze...
