Dark and Mystical
4/11/14
A brisk breeze blows by, mourning the fall of day
Shadows melts into the ground, happy for it to be away
Danger waits in the woods along the way
But beauty waits as well tonight
The moon rises casting a dim glow
The stars follow, joining it in the light
The river gurgles in it's normal flow
All is quiet in the night
A shadow moves, rustling of leaves heard
Clouds obscure the moon, darkness envelopes the world
A howl pierces the night
My heart jumps in fright
I wait frozen in the dim light
The shadow moves near revealing itself
A wolf, with serene beauty, teeth barred in delight
Gracefully it stalks away, into the shadows of night
In darkness lies beauty
In darkness lies fright
Which you see depends on the night
