I dream of dappled light
Falling upon my eager face
Winter at last has taken flight
Perfection of Spring embraced.
Softness permeates joyful breeze
Newfound temperance everywhere
Forest unfurled fresh green leaves
Hellebores flourish over there.
Yellow primrose quite sublime
Lovely bloom in Spring's hedgerow
Bluebells with their silent chime
Dappled light creates mystic glow.
My Winter soul at last appeased
Wherever I look beauty resides
Like a prayer nature's very own creed
Divinity unleashed I am baptised.
