Dangerous Roads
Dangerous roads due to dangerous curves,
Like dangerous women, they make me swerve.
I steer to the left and steer to the right
Making it dangerous this dark, rainy night.
But, is it a road to which I refer?
The allure of the car, the gentle soft purr?
Think for a moment, the fate of the man.
His life is at stake when left in the hands
of the car’s driver, that swerves on this road,
the bearer of weight, the burdening load.
So travel the road that’s narrow and straight.
Unbridle the harness that holds all the weight.
Travel the length of the road carefully.
The end of the road, you will then see.
