Dandelions

I looked out into the yard - guess what I did see Hoards of sunny yellow blossoms - looking back at me Then dark rain clouds came to call - with cold wind bending trees All the blossoms hid their faces - oh where could they all be I know I didn't pick them - mow them I did not I think this chilly rainy day - has made them all distraught They hide their little faces - closed petals ducking down In the cold and wind and rain - they lay close to the ground Tomorrow when the weather breaks - with the sun all warm and bright They will come out of their hiding place - to dance within the light.

Lenna, I loved how you took us into a virtual dance of the dandelions where we saw them gaily parading or ducking from the cold. It's beautifully done. A 7:) Amitiés

Beautiful Lenna. That dance of the dandelions. Most se these as a weed but I see them as another beautiful aspect on nature. Your poem is wonderfully spring like, even with the harsh weather and yes, when it changes, they will re-appear
