Dandelions

Always in the limelight
Cheerful and bright

I find you as wonderful
As you are bountiful

Yellow dots swaggered
Here and there scattered 

Like a child’s laughter
You epitomize summer

Dandelions wild and free
You are beautiful to me

P.S. Awtry October 27, 2018 at 9:45 AM I too am a fan of the dandelion. One day scientists will find it cures something! And when I see one I can almost hear it "pssts..." like it wants to tell some one the secret of why it has been placed everywhere and stubbornly survives though faced with unrelenting opposition.
