Dandelion

Dandelion

Are we not the colour we seek to be?
Do the sins of all of us not taint me?
Does the smile on a face not change thee?
Does the future come to embrace or see?
Do we live the way our parents taught us to be?
Are we so blind in our youth that colours define humanely?
Do you know who you really are with these chains and eyes that speak?
Does your genetic blue print actually mean you are nothing but a blank screen?
I ask myself these questions but the answers have already been made for an eternity.

Hi Peter, i could not resist the title. and still I am in wonder by all the question, in which seek me for the answers. I love the stance in your poem. An inner whisper like the dandelion. enjoyed *LINDA
