Dancing with the Flower Fairy

In the garden of youth, where the flowers kissed the sky, We were kids in the sun, with not a worry in our eye. Playing tag, oh what fun, beneath the azure spread, Chasing dreams, and fleeting joy, where the dandelions spread. You and me, side by side, our shadows merged as one, Under the watchful gaze of the golden, warming sun. Laughter echoed, hearts open wide, in that timeless space, Where innocence painted smiles, and care was out of place. Dancing with the flower fairy, in a realm of petals and dew, We twirled around the garden's heart, in a world so fresh and new. Her wings shimmered with morning light, a spectrum's tender thread, Weaving magic in the air, where our giggles softly spread. The roses clapped with every leap, the daisies nodded with glee, As we pranced in the flower fairy's ball, as wild and free as the sea. Our feet barely touched the grass, as if treading on a cloud, In the arms of nature's embrace, our joyous laughter loud. But as the sun began to dip, and shadows started to lengthen, The spell of endless play had to give way to the strengthen'n. The flower fairy whispered goodbye, with a soft and tender sigh, Her touch lingered on our cheeks, as the evening sky turned awry. Now, years have passed since those days, when we danced in the sun, But the memories are etched in time, a bond that can't be undone. For in the heart where dreams reside, where the child within still plays, We're forever those kids in the sun, in the garden's eternal blaze.
