Dancing On the Sea...

on the water, all roads lead back to a shore
of foreign or familiar land
although this intention may not always go
as you had planned

but our boat was headed into a storm that seemed to be made
of ash covered waves
and people are pioneers that have always traveled the ocean
although it never behaves

I just stood staring at my love, who has always
been so good to me
so we forgot our destination and just danced on the deck
over the rooftop of the sea
