Dancing In the Breeze

How often have I felt like this, my dear How often have I felt The breeze ruffling my hair, Whilst you laughed and kissed me fair? Times when we went to walk Along the promenade Sit on a bench and talk And silently I prayed. Will we live happily together? Will we build up a great affair? Will our lives beat the bad weather? How many lonely years must pass Before we tie our marriage knot? Can’t you decide and solve our impasse For I am not some worthless robot. Perhaps the breeze will bring me luck, You will accept me as I am. All our tiny problems come unstuck Like all those cars in our traffic jam.
