Dancing Duck

It sucks! Quacked the duck I wanna dance the shuffle yet all I do is waddle When I cha-cha cha My beat's kinda blah-blah Once, I did the moon-walk It led to raucous squawks… I’m feeling high and dry With one thing left to try The pals say I oughta go waltzing on the water ~ Oh how I spin and glide I’ve really found my stride A smooth electric slide! Love this whimsical piece! In my ancient past, there was a strange "Disco Duck" record with a Donald Duck like voice splashing out some lyrics. How your poem takes me back. Be well. May your pen continue to flourish. Brian

hehe..they love to sing and dance in the islands alright and then laugh when the comedians break loose their moves esp. the older generation breakdancing. Sometimes, I just miss that but my mom used to drive me up the wall with her comedy too - as a kid, it was so embarrassing lol glad it got you laughing, my lovely fellow Micronesian :))

thanks ...just some rhyming fun. Some boat names leave me feeling like a fish out of water and others just get me writing away... the next one is 'Miss Behavin' lol :)
