Dance of Death
Here she lies in the confined space,
A prisoner to her dark place
She wraps herself in terror
And fills herself with shame
As she clings on to the corner
She drives herself insane.
Her tattered body
Is attacked by her bruised heart
The day her whole world fell apart
He was supposed to love her
In every way, but instead he left a void
And practically destroyed her mind,
She wishes she could turn back time
And never let that moment happen,
Never let her feelings for him cloud her judgment
He was nothing more that a dance of death
He held her close and kissed her neck,
He whispered sweet nothings in her ear
But when the lights turned on he disappeared
