Dance of dances
It has been a while since we last met,
The snow and rain gave way to roses blooming yet.
Hope and anticipation fill the evening air,
Would you dance with me tonight, and end our long despair?
Let us dance tonight, arm in arm,
Let romance wipe away the pain of separation’s harm.
Let love and feelings rise, from our hearts entwined,
In our embrace, the world’s forgotten, time left behind.
While dancing close, please grant the smile I yearn to see,
The radiance of love, shining just for me.
Shape my thoughts and dreams, in which I always live,
With your touch, your warmth, the endless love you give.
In the ballroom of our souls, where stars and shadows blend,
The dance of dances starts tonight, a moment without end.
Our hearts will speak in steps, our spirits take their flight,
Would you like to dance with me, beneath the moon’s soft light?
