Dance Contest

Arrogance and Poetry tried out for a dance contest, Simply "stoned" with the idea that they were the best. They sat at a table, pointing out errors in others. Forgetting to have a heart and compassion and that all dancers are sisters and brothers. After snickering over others mistakes, They soon discovered, they did not have what it takes. So they, continued without hesitation, attacking others with bitter brazenness. So much so, that Arrogance and Poetry were asked to leave, and red faced, did so with all their selfish cravenness. Hello Panagiota … almost everything starts with glitter and glam, but then the walls start building and the verbal bullets fly - nicely done Panagiota - Lindsay

Hi...I guess? Things change sometime for the better......other times tings grow dim. In my own life, over many decades..things have consistently have gotten better. The world still exists after wars, diseases and dissensions. This was meant to be an unhappy place. Perfection for a few only is in the afterlife, as far as I know. Panagiota

Hi Arturo, It was inspired by a not well known Poet here, suffering from big- head-itis. None of us are perfect. I am well known for errors in typos. Top poets here usually soup me is I am in error, not in public. And they do so with humility. That's the beauty of a true, poet. We all do our best. Thank you for being a poet friend for so longg Panagiota
