Damaged People
Damaged People need to live on
Even when they can’t get along
And when they’re judged to be unkind
Maybe it’s just that they are looking to find
Their way in a world that doesn’t care
Even when they see something that isn’t there
Forward always seems the way to go
Even if you don’t want to know
Of what it will take to continue
When all you want is finish too
So sometimes if is just be gentle
Will be what they need in their mettle.
