Daffodils

Here we stand brothers in arms
Green uniforms one and all
See us guarding nature’s charms
Our yellow plumes stand tall
Begone o’ winter’s discontentment
Begone o’ lonely cloud
For frosty Jack there’s no lament
We daffodils stand proud
