Daffodil Ring
One summer day,
my eager heart took wing
as hand in hand
upon the hill,
I gave my love a lover's ring
bound of a golden daffodil
Now, that summer spent its fling
to every lover upon the hill,
I will give my love
a wedding ring
in an aisle
of golden daffodils
