Daffodil

Daffodil you're so bright and pretty Daffodil you shine out in the city Daffodil you're not here what a pitty Daffodil so so pretty Daffodil I hold you tight Daffodil in the daylight Daffodil but in the night Daffodil you're out of sight One thing that is true is a Daffodil is never blue tis very true. The beautiful flower of all time will always be known in my mind I search for the true secrets in a flower and find myself studying it for an hour The truth is this flower has a certain power to make the day bright and keep some light in sight. The Daffodil is so amazing, it keeps me just a gazing It has a certain mystery, It keeps the good inside of me It makes me say hey Daffodil you're ok.

"One thing that is true is a Daffodil is never blue" - Great observation. New fact for me. Beautifully written. Congratulations!

Hey! Another poet with my beloved name! Welcome Gwen! (I go by Gwendolen). I guess it runs in our name-erology this love for the daffodil...I have a daffodil acrostic somewhere on my list...enjoyed the happy spin you place on this radiant flower! Gwendolen R.
