Dad's Two Promises To His Little Angel

The moment you appeared
in my life to brighten it
 you took my breath away
 and stole away all darkness
 I could feel that
you were the gift of god
 with an angelic power
my thirsty eyes began to shed
 tears of joy and happiness
you stole my heart with every beat
the most precious gift from the heaven
were you for your Daddy to love
 beyond any doubt
 I promised to you that
your Dad would always be there
to catch you if you fall
 and another promise
I made to my barbie doll
 that Dad’s little angel
 you would always be
now will you promise me that
 when your Dad
would be an old age frame tomorrow
 at that moment also
you would be Dad’s little angel only
