Daddy, Please Don'T Hurt Me

Oh, Daddy, please don’t hurt me.

Don’t cause me any pain.

No, I don’t want to go through this

And cry these tears again.

Oh, Daddy, please don’t hurt me.

I love you, yes I do.

I don’t want to see this monster

That lives inside of you.

Oh, Daddy, please don’t hurt me.

I’ve gone through this enough.

I thought that you’d protect me from

Yes, all this type of stuff.

Oh, Daddy, please don’t hurt me.

I don’t want another bruise.

You turn into somebody else

When you start drinking booze.

Oh, Daddy, please don’t hurt me.

Don’t cause me any pain.

No, I don’t want to go through this

And cry these tears again.

Very sad. My son's best friend came to live with us due to both his parents alcoholic abuse... He cried when his father didn't even care after 10 days gone... It was touching and so very sad.
