Daddy Is Leaving
Daddy is leaving us, it is time to go,
His life is ending this we know,
Family is near there is no doubt,
He is winding down his time has run out.
Daddy is leaving us he won’t last long,
Once so proud, once so strong,
The curse of time has attacked this soul,
His body and memory are no longer whole.
Daddy is leaving us, it has been a long time,
Since I was little and he was all mine,
One last trip, whenever when,
God decides to call Daddy to be with him.
Daddy has left us, I wonder when
God will allow us to see him again,
When the new world has begun
In Heaven with my Father and his Son
