Dad Remember Me
C'mon dad remember when,
I was seven that christmas
or the present you had sent
Or even that time you took me to the swap meet
buying me such a beautiful dress for that
Easter sunday
I have a memory of when I was a teen, dating a man
that was of your age ..and you threatened me,
you'd kill em
You must remember when you took me to the park,
renting that paddle boat and we paddled till our feet
hurt
What wonderful memories you have created with me,
it's devistating that Alzhiemers is going to erase it all
clean
And here real soon will come the day, and yet nothing
will prepare me for the answer on your face after asking
you for the first time...Remember me daddy?
