Dad Happy Birthday

Since I was a little boy

You made me happy filled with joy

when I fell you picked me up

Told me I must be tough

I know sometimes I made you angry

You said time out and I would pout

                                             When I was very small

made me feel six feet tall

                                            Read me bed time stories

                                             Until I went to sleep

Thank you dad that was so neat

Growing up you taught me how to use a cup

You were there until I grew up

                                                  Now I am a man

                                             Thank you for being there

And never letting go of my hand

I am proud to be your son

                                                 Happy Birthday
