Dad

Looking up to you with big, brown eyes You were my hero. Screaming at you when you said I couldn’t go, You were my enemy. Laughing when you made a joke, You were my comedian. Begging you to change you mind, You were my challenge. Thanking you when you trusted me, You were my friend. Leaving you as I prepare to go away, You are my dad.
