Dad

You were the one who taught me to ride a bike
You pushed me forth
And never let go
Even when I resisted and kept saying no
You never gave up
Never Let me down
If it didn't work out and i'd fall
You'd pick me up
And
turned it all around
If I made a mistake
And
I've made a few
you left your opinions just for you
You never judged no matter how you disagreed
Even when i married young you still set me free
You were always there when i needed you
So Thank you for always loving me
like i know you do.

Straightforward rhyme expressing your love and new understanding of your relationship. That's saying a lot with these few words. (should do a spell check: If i :I, did you want 2 capitalized words to follow each other: Never Let...and Ive requires an apostrophe I've. Nonetheless, it is a fine tribute to your father.
