Dad

You were there the day I was born,
To hold me to love me you had sworn.
You taught me to ride a bike,
you made my eggs the way I like.
We grew apart one day,
The reason why I could never say.
not because i didnt want to,
but i dont think i really knew.
I have grown to understand,
now i need you take my hand.
right now i dont need a dad,
I need a friend, is that so bad?
You know I love you so much,
no matter what your love I clutch
I want you in my life forever,
I want you to accept me however.
I will make alot of mistakes,
but i'll learn no matter how long it takes.
My life will be awsome you will see,
But I need you in it next to me.
I love you dad I hope you love me to,
Because no matter what im stuck with you!
