Notes About The Poem

Cynebeald

Derived simple comfort, throughout childhood, even now, From the one syllable sound, called out by my mother. Cynebeald in the most formal tongue of old. A lifetime of Meaning, paved as my feet undulate toward the unknown. Kin, I surely hold, so close and dear – an abundance of God’s blessing. Bold vitality ensures I walk in symphonic shoes, embracing Brave attitudes, whether or not I become an able-bodied leader. King of my adventure, Queen in my sphere of influence, thus named.
