Cycle of Weekend
This place is a palace of prisoned pigeons
within its world of work, worry and woes
birds here roam repeating rituals of its regions
Freedom and fun these birds flock to seek
to migrate to destinations on a day to get peak
called Friday on its arrival these birds squeak(TGIF)
Time on Friday fleets fluently in freedom and fun
pigeons plan, pack and play with passion ton
the two days that follow flow in quick run
Time ends the fun and flings open its hold
cast down the pigeons return to their old fold
again to dream here of destinations they are sold.
