Cutting the Cord

From seed to birth
He moved forward
Refusing to see the land
The flow of humanity
Out and about
Created the caring hand

Every touch
Intricately woven
With LOVE to connect
A bond, unbroken
WORD forever spoken
A promise to protect

Fellowship has a cord
That lingers
Til a question arises
One must answer
To eliminate
Any surprises

Angst, suffering
Separation, pain
No man should enter
The cord cut
Baby birthed
The womb splintered

Ripping the fabric
Creating new
Brings the needle through
Space, time, matter
Between loss
Entering royal blue

Object permanence
Near to far
Creating trust
The SON up high
Brought to the pit
Conquered reality for us

...HUMAN BEING
