Cute Family

Cute Family

I vision of a sharp thorn stem.
A closed bud sprouting on its end.
Growing in pot with much food and water to feed.
Then the right care came, the stem lost weight for sprouting.
The cute white bud started to bloom.
Soon those pedal grew curves as that bud grew.
Cute beautiful rose bush she began to be.
With her beautiful roses, in her family tree.

What a lovely way to describe the creation of families using plants to represent people! Very creative, Jack. A delight for readers! Love, Carolyn

I like this as a Free verse, cute story with the metaphor of the rose family. You need to refer to the "Forms of poetry" to find what kind of poem you are writting. Their is alot of fun learning new ways to write poetry Heroic Couplets, rhyme and are written in the "iambic pentameter" Nice try. Judy Riley
