Curvaceous Moon
twas dark, a hen's night
stillness abandoned fright
knocks echoed freely
her presence held
chimera fragments
an innate realm
unbeknownst reasons
dare overwhelm
a shoulder-companion gone lain
unearthed my being hath slain
seams seared, half-bakes felt
rivers hot, unadulterated knelt
twilight's heightened bell
barriers broken bedlam befell
curvaceous moon slip away
chamber dust filled out of old
breaths breathing air gone cold
pumps pursed crimson clouded lips
breading beats inner anguish sipped
lingers light in parchement craved
digging deep, past stones yet paved
pebbled path's growth graves utter grief
sight lines fall with Autumn's leaf
promise skips 'cross barren ponds
flight trapped pain becomes undone
curvaceous moon come to stay
marched beats slow and humble
vagabond makings soon to tumble
hearts welcomed back home
release, the wilderness calls
blessed, respite guides the walls
yellow splays the morning
(or is it night)
balance tips the scales
