Cupidity
Just dumbstruck
with your love,
Just numbstruck
by you
My cup is full
of Cupidity
Overflowing
with you
And I'm all lovesick with stupidity
Struck down by you and your invisible arrows
I swallow my medicine with humility
Your potion is all I need to sustain me
So, I bend my pride and my knee
I swallow my nerves and pray when I say,
"Will you marry me?"
