Cumbercot Family Mushroom Spree
Mama gnome was pleased with her family, the Cumbercots.
They did a fine job of washing the red mushrooms with dots
Can we please bring some home in the wheelbarrow? Asked Pat.
She was not sure what to say. “Sure,” said her boyfriend Matt.
So the Cumbercots left the field with three mushrooms so fine.
Can I keep them? Asked Pat. Please say they are mine.”
He planted them in their field, and they grew lots of sprouts.
A mushroom city sprang up, where excited kids came with shouts.
Hooray for the Cumbercots, the parents of the kids said.
Hooray for the dotted mushrooms, such a pretty color of red!
Boyfriend Matt surprised her and got down on one knee.
They decided to get married near the mushroom oak tree.
