Crystal Clear Tapestry
It's true that my youth has escaped me.
Yet I am assuredly calm.
For the passage of time has just shaped me.
Experience heals like a balm.
The deep crystal waters surround me.
Pristine they're not but so clear.
No longer do these things confound me.
I grasp all the ones I hold dear.
Now with most moments spent there is laughter.
Those hot tears released quickly dried.
A lifetime of joy's all I'm after.
Forget all the times that I cried.
As I gaze at the waters of time
it's crystal clear where I've traveled.
These pages of my book sublime;
a tapestry can't be unraveled.
