Crystal Clear

Crystal Clear

This is the moment when my thoughts are crystal clear,
Gone are all the distractions that got me here.
A moment when the mind overrules the heart.
Begin at the end and work my way to the start.
Like an unfinished book, I’ll read with clarity.
While taking all perspectives with sincerely.
This is the moment when I take back my time,
Stop wasting it on someone how wasn’t even mine.
Make the hard decision to start a new,
By putting myself first instead of you.
Like an unfinished play, I’ll stop rehearsing the part,
Exit the stage, and protect my heart.
This is the moment when I’ll take a stand,
Gather information and play my hand.
Stop the bleeding from this wound,
Right now, not a moment too soon.
Like a unfinished fight, where nobody wins,
I must walk-away from this sin.
