Crystal Cavern
Gleaming ice stallactites
Cover crystal cavern walls
Ready in a moments time
To protect and break and fall
Deep in the black in the back of the cave
The beast lies await in slumber
She always sleeps with one eye open
For those who come, will come in numbers
The frost begins to melt
For the first of warm spring days
As seasons change and roles reverse
She is the predator, not the prey
