If you see me cry 
It means you’re too close
Yet out of my world
You’ve hurt me the most
With a promise to love
That never came true
If you see me cry
It’s because of you

You can’t wipe these tears
As they’ll never cease
What I wished to happen
It will never be 
You promised me rainbows
There’s no color to see
If you can’t love me back
Then it’s cryin’ for me

If you hear me cry
I hope you hurt too
It’s nothing you’ve done
It’s what you won’t do
I had hoped you would love me
A dream not coming true
If you hear me cry
It’s because of you

You can’t wipe these tears
