Cry of An Elephant

I press my keyboard several times
to type the type of words that show loss of lives
Loss of lives due to greed that now seems like a creed
it really pains how a human being can be so mean in their deeds
why, why, why do you destroy our motherland, why wipe us out of the earth.

I cannot freely move anymore without fear for my life
The thought that the human is on the look scares me
My life is not easy early in the morning or late in the evening
I am wanted not as a criminal but as a victim of crime, crime committed to me,
why, why, why do you destroy our motherland, why wipe us out of the earth.

Shot and shots are fired at us day in day out
They do it for fun while we run for our lives
I am scared of the human who is now a bad beast among us.
Nowhere to run to for everywhere they are,
why, why, why do you destroy our motherland, why wipe us out of the earth.

They run the government so we cannot run there for help
who will protect us if those who should pose as real enemies?
Our tusks are so precious to them than our existence
we have the right to live but you violate our right to life.
If this will continue then the generations to come will never hear of an ELEPHANT.
